To apply added service time, you must have at least 12 paid months of sea-service registered at Maritime Pension Fund. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">You can check this in the \u201cMin opptjening\u201d section in your members portal (mpk.no\/medlem)<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Note that added service time cannot be used to qualify for a lump-sum payment (applicable if you have between 36 and 149 months of sea-service).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Eligible workplaces for added service time include:<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: arial, helvetica, sans-serif\">Sea-service on ships registered within the EU\/EEA.
