                                               <p>Yes, certain individuals and positions on board are fully exempt from the Maritime Pension Fund. This includes:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Fishing and harvest vessels, where only the ship\u2019s crew is covered \u2014 not the fishermen (who are covered by the Fishermen\u2019s Guarantee Fund).<\/li>\n<li>Various workers not considered part of the crew, such as musicians and doctors.<\/li>\n<li>Employees in hotel and restaurant services on tourist ships registered in NIS (Norwegian International Ship Register).<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications for exemption for seismic workers have been denied.<\/p>\n                                            <\/div>\n                                        <\/li>\n                                                                            <li class=\"faq-item\">\n                                            <button class=\"faq-question\">\n                                                What rules apply for drilling rigs?                                                <div class=\"pluss-icon\">\n                                                    <div>+<\/div>\n                                                <\/div>\n                                            <\/button>\n                                            <div class=\"faq-answer\">\n                                                <p>Norwegian and EEA citizens working on mobile offshore units (at least 100 gross tons) registered in NOR or NIS are generally covered by the pension scheme, regardless of whether they operate on the Norwegian or foreign continental shelf.<\/p>\n<p>Employees working on mobile units not registered in NOR\/NIS but operating on the Norwegian continental shelf can apply for <strong>voluntary membership<\/strong>, provided they are members of the Norwegian National Insurance Scheme (folketrygden).<\/p>\n                                            <\/div>\n                                        <\/li>\n                                                                            <li class=\"faq-item\">\n                                            <button class=\"faq-question\">\n                                                I can\u2019t log in to the employer portal                                                <div class=\"pluss-icon\">\n                                                    <div>+<\/div>\n                                                <\/div>\n                                            <\/button>\n                                            <div class=\"faq-answer\">\n                                                <p>You log in through the main page of our website.<br \/>\nTo get access, we must first activate your account. Have you accounted for this?<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Have you entered the correct number of days?<\/strong><br \/>\nWe accept a maximum of 30 days per month. The exception is the second month of a term \u2014 you can report more than 30 days then, as final settlements are taken into account.<br \/>\nIf an employee started during the last month of the previous term, you cannot add those days to the first month of the current term. You must either:<br \/>\n\u2022 report the days in the previous term, or<br \/>\n\u2022 report them in the second month of the current term.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Invoice amount incorrect?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u2022 If the invoice is higher than what you calculated, you can pay the difference to the account listed on the invoice.<br \/>\n\u2022 If the invoice is lower, the surplus will be registered as a credit with us. You can choose to:<br \/>\no Deduct it from your next invoice, or<br \/>\no Request a refund.<\/p>\n                                            <\/div>\n                                        <\/li>\n                                                                            <li class=\"faq-item\">\n                                            <button class=\"faq-question\">\n                                                Do you have foreign employees on board?                                                <div class=\"pluss-icon\">\n                                                    <div>+<\/div>\n                                                <\/div>\n                                            <\/button>\n                                            <div class=\"faq-answer\">\n                                                <p>If foreign employees are not registered with a valid national ID number (f\u00f8dselsnummer) or D-number, they won\u2019t trigger a premium in our system. Our system is connected to the National Population Register.<\/p>\n<p>If an employee is waiting for a D-number, they will be listed as \u201cunknown\u201d in our system and won\u2019t appear on the invoice.<br \/>\nOnce you receive a valid ID or D-number, you can update the information in the relevant payroll submission.<br \/>\nGo to &#8220;previously submitted payroll reports&#8221; for the correct period and enter the correct information.<\/p>\n<p>Employees without a valid ID or D-number will be marked in yellow on the premium report. After you update their information, a new invoice will be generated.
